Founded in 1946, Swinton Athletic has a rich history in local football. Although the club faced challenges and folded in 2005, it was proudly reformed in 2008, marking the beginning of a new era of success and ambition.
Since our reformation, Swinton Athletic has achieved remarkable milestones, most notably becoming the most successful team in the 125-year history of the Montagu Cup, with a record-breaking 8 titles.
Alongside this historic achievement, we have claimed multiple league titles, league cups, the Doncaster Cup, and other prestigious trophies, cementing our place as a dominant force in local football.
